Dental Radiography gives us insight into your teeth…
Digital Intra Oral Radiography is one of the most useful tools in dentistry. Here at Australia Fair Dental Care we use digital radiographs – or x-rays to scan your teeth. This allows us to see all aspects of your mouth including the deeper gum and mouth tissue as well as the roots of your teeth. Our digital radiographs have higher resolution than most film and can enable us to diagnose serious dental issues such as overcrowding and periodontitis.
Digital OPGs provide an all-encompassing view of the mouth…
Our panoramic digital x-ray allows us to take full-mouth x-rays of the entire jaw. It can also include views of the bitewings of the mouth where TMJ symptoms or cross-bites can be diagnosed. These scans can be ready in one single appointment so you don’t have to wait for them to develop.
The Digital Intra-Oral Camera allows you to see your teeth from your dentists perspective…
The digital intra-oral camera improves the communication between you and your dentist. During your appointment with us your dentist will use the minimally invasive intra-oral camera – that isn’t much larger than a pen – to create a live feed of your teeth. This allows you to watch your teeth so that your dentist can explain what his or her concerns are.
Laser Dentistry can re-sculpt your smile
Laser dentistry decreases discomfort drastically and provides a much more precise way of getting rid of gum tissue. Lasers can also be used to sculpt excess gum tissue which causes a gummy smile. This procedure eliminates a lot of the discomfort during the healing process of more traditional treatments.
Our In-House Ceramic Dental Laboratory allows us to create tailor made ceramic restorations
We can fix a variety of dental problems with our ceramic technology, including damaged teeth, unsightly, chipped or crooked teeth and we can also create crowns for dental implants. Crowns are sometimes necessary to re-strengthen a damaged tooth while protecting it from further damage. Your dentist will consult with you on the best form of treatment for damaged teeth and may use our ceramic facility to make your treatment more convenient.
